the Mixcloud Years

(2016) Threw this together my first year in NYC under snow, isolation and duress.

it’s an odd mix that focuses on discarded tracks from college and Vintage hip hop and 80’s goofiness. The original description reads:

“The prequel to the follow-up, to the musical based on the adaptation, of the book based on something I heard about once but wasn’t totally sure about but something makes me think that it might just happen. Hit me up with the payola and remember to keep your homies off the crack. Shouts to Dr. Chicken and Imgflip.”

(2016) Felt a follow-up was needed, this one hits more of the rap rungs that comprised the “Wax Octopus” sound from my WPRK 91.5 fm Fridays nights (1997-2004). Look out for some really weird Pop Jazz and Phone Pranks that make this one particularly silly. A lot of originals, probably could use.
